High bather load is the thing that separates Sunningdale from a lot of the areas we work. Pools here get used properly through summer, and swimmers consume chlorine, load the filter and shift the chemistry in a way that an ornamental pool never does. Run times and dosing need to reflect how the pool is actually used rather than its size on paper.
Add the coastal wind and dust and you have a pool that needs its filter watched. We check pressure every visit rather than backwashing to a schedule, because backwashing a filter that does not need it just wastes water.
Because these are family pools, the safety conversation comes up more here than almost anywhere else we work. If there are small children in the house, a properly tensioned net or a compliant fence is not an optional extra, and a floating bubble cover is not a safety device no matter what it looks like. We are blunt about that distinction.
