Every clean covers the same ground: surface skimmed, floor vacuumed, walls, steps and waterline brushed, weir and pump baskets emptied, filter backwashed when the pressure calls for it, and the water tested and dosed so it actually holds until we are back.
We are a Northern Suburbs based team working the whole metro, so you get someone who knows what a February southeaster does to a Plattekloof pool and what winter run-off does to one in Newlands. Same technician each week wherever we can, because the person who knows your pool spots trouble before you do.
Cape Town pools work harder than most. Summer UV burns chlorine off within hours, the wind drops dust and leaves in daily, and the water hardness swings depending which side of the mountain you are on. A clean that ignores the chemistry just moves dirt around, so we treat the two as one job.
Weekly suits most pools from October through to April when the sun and the wind are both working against you. Fortnightly is fine for a small, sheltered or covered pool and through the quieter winter months, and plenty of our customers simply switch between the two as the seasons turn.

If you cannot see the bottom, a normal clean will not fix it. That needs chemistry, filtration and a few days of running, which is covered under green pool recovery. We will tell you which one you need before we come out, not after.
No. As long as we can reach the pool and the pump, most of our regulars are at work when we come.
Normal weekly dosing is included on a service plan. Big one off corrections like a heavy shock or a stabiliser reset are quoted separately so nobody gets a surprise.
One to three hours for a pool in reasonable shape. Heavy leaf load or a pool that has stood for weeks takes longer and we will say so up front.
