Wynberg runs from grand old properties on the upper side to compact homes lower down, and the pools vary just as much. Kwik Pools services the whole area for cleaning, repairs and renovations.
Upper Wynberg has the older, larger properties with mature gardens and pools to match, generally original construction with plenty of life in the shell and plenty of wear on everything else. Lower down the pools are smaller and newer, and the issues shift to compact plant and tight access.
Common to both is winter. This side of the mountain takes serious rainfall, and the dilution that comes with it is what leaves pools chemically depleted and prone to turning in spring.
One local note worth stating plainly: searches for the swimming pool in Wynberg mostly turn up the public municipal pool. If you have landed here looking for that, this is not it.
