Kuils River shares the inland heat with Brackenfell and Kraaifontein, and pools here need summer filtration hours that reflect that rather than a schedule set once and forgotten. Water temperatures climb high enough by February that anything living in the pool has ideal conditions.
Sandy ground is a factor in parts of the area, both for what blows into the pool and for how the ground behaves under it. Where a pool is losing water we test properly rather than assuming evaporation, because a leak into sandy ground shows very few surface signs until something subsides.
Because so many properties here are in estates and complexes, a lot of our Kuils River work is scheduled contract servicing rather than one off visits. That suits everyone: predictable costs, logged testing, and nobody discovering in December that the shared pool has been neglected since March.
